Grabbing and Spinning

Hey guys new here, but i have a pretty simple questions. Tried looking through the forums and maybe i just missed it but i can't find it.

I have 3's and 5's down on pretty sizable kickers. Still working on getting the grabs down with my spins. I can't seem to figure out how to do any grab besides saftey while spinning. Any quick tips you can give?

If this has already been answered, could you link me to it? Thanks!

Start with going big on 180 and switch 180 and throw the grabs in. it come naturaly on more spins after you get the 180s down. its all about air time!

You need to make sure that you pop, wait till about 180 before you grab, and bring ur legs up, not ur body down

Bad advice. You never lean back on a jump.

The trick is to suck up your legs to bring the skis to you. Never try to "go for your skis" attempt. The added momentum will throw you off. To safety, bend your knees in the air and find the boot. Now in a spin, you cant look for the grab until you are comfortable with the trick. It is important to not rush the grab either. Clear the lip, set your rotation and then initiate the grab. By the time you are at 180, you should have the grab and search your landing.

Its best to build up to the grab. Do it on 180s, then 360s. Once that is down master various grabs before rushing to the 540

awesome thanks for the advice guys. I'll start off with the 180s and then work up to it next time i go out! really appreciate it

BE PATIENT. Like with most tricks in skiing the more patient the better. with 5s and up wait till atleast 180 before you grab when you are learning….

Also start by going 360 tuck jumps almost like double safety just to get the feeling of being more balled up.

Once you have this down go for a single handed safety or critical etc…..

Before you even think of grabs make sure you are super comfy. if you rush these things it will just make it harder too progress later on
