Here is some new-school lingo in case your new to the movement:
Basic grabs:
-Mute: Grab opposite ski with opposite hand. (ex: Right hand grabs the left ski and pulls it in to make a nice cross)
-Zute/Rocket: Basically a twister grab.
-Huntony: Like a mute except the back leg is kicked out like a daffi. The ski rests on the opposite knee.
-Indy: Cross skis and grab under ski boot.
-Japan Air: Kick right leg out to the side and tuck left leg under your butt. Grab the heelpiece of your binding from your back.
-Tail Grab: grab inside tail.
-Tai Pan: Mute but between the legs. (from back of right thigh to grab left ski)
-Lui Kang: Japan but on front toepiece.
-Phil Grab: Grab same ski as your hand and tweak
-Illegal grab: tail grab but don't cross skis-just grab from the outside. Evan Raps likes doing em in d-spin.
More Complicated grabs:
-Screaming seamen: Not a grab but helps you understand the next 2. The screaming seamen, named after the mogul skier Chris Seamen and not the fluid, requires you to cross your skis over as if you were crossing your legs.
-Genie: A screaming seamen but requires you to bring one leg to the side and grab it.
-Stepover stiffie: A screaming seamen Zute grab.
Flips:
Front Flip: Forward Flip
Back Flip: Backwards Flip
Lawndart: Straight out pinner frontflip aka like a dart.
Side Flip: An off axis back flip. PArtially tilted. Think of Shane Andreson doing his back mutes. Simlilar to that.
Spins:
-Fakie/Switch: taking off or landing fakie or switch stance is skiing backwards or landing backwards. Ex: a 180 switch is taking off backwards and landing forwards.
-180, 360, 540, 720, 900, 1080, 1260, 1440: 1/2 revolution, 1 revolution, 1 1/2 revolutions.......
-360 grab: 360 with a mute grab in it or a japan...
-720 mute: 360+360 mute
-Suicide: 360 Screaming Seamen.
Pipe tricks:
-basic grabs: ....
-Ally-oop: Spinning 180 uphill instead of downhill.
-Ally-oop grab: Spinning uphill 180 with a mute grab or japan...
-McTwist: Misty 540 in the pipe.
-Flare: Backflip 180.
-Flat Spin: Spinning parallel to the ground. Can only be landed after 540.
-Flare to Front: Toben Sutherland's famous killer combo.
-Spin flip combination
-Misty flip: Kind of Front flip with spin, Off axis spin.
-Lincoln Loop/Sunrise: Barrell roll. Flip to the side.
-Rodeo: Kind of a lincoln loop 360 plus another 180 or 360 or 540 or 720.
-Switchback: Switch backflip (fakie to fakie).
-Moebius: Back full or back 360.
-D-spin: Named after Mike Douglas. Basically a backside corkscrew 720. Partially inveted cork 7 or 9
-Rock Bottom 720: The squaw vallew crew's version of a frontside d-spin (i think)
-UnderFlip(lu Kang): Basically think 45 lincoln, then rotate about 90 when inverted then come out like a front flip. The lu Kang does help alot to rotate the 90 when inverted.
-Cork: An off axis spin which is not inverted. A tilted stylish spin
