Lead mute when spinning left means grabbing mute with the right hand. Opp mute in a left spin would be with the left hand. It has to do with which way your body opens up, if the grab makes you look toward the way you're spinning it's lead, if it turns you the other way then you can call it opposite, reverse, non-leading or whatever. Some grabs like safety don't really make you turn a bunch but left spin, left handed safety is leading.

I'm not that sure about a genie but a venom is when you cross your skis and grab the opposite ski in front of you with both hands. So your right hand grabs your left ski and your left hand grabs your right.
