GPA too low for upper division courses

My first two years of college, I screwed around and pull a whopping 1.95 GPA. Took two years off and then went to a community college to raise my GPA. The classes I took at CC were all pre-business courses that I needed for my major. I actually gave a damn and got nothing lower than an A-. However, my cumulative GPA is still only around 2.6. In order to take upper division classes at the University I just transferred into, I need an overall GPA of 3.2. So now what? Is my only option to take a bunch of random classes to boost my GPA? At CC, I was killing two birds with one stone by raising my GPA as well as taking pre business courses that I needed to take anyways. But now I've taken all of the lower division classes that are required for my major. Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation.

And yes, I know I'm an idiot for screwing off my first two years at school. Can't stress that enough

... You're and idiot for screwing off your first two years of school.

But seriously Its really not that hard to have a 3.2+ GPA... and you were a business major. Im honestly curious how you managed to pull a 1.9 your first two years. I feel like you would have had to tried to do that poorly in business.

instead of asking NS, why don't you go talk to your adviser/counselor? maybe you could get a waiver or she could explain your options to you. It doesn't seem like your much smarter now though, since your asking the internet where you will probably not get a good answer.

If it's competitive then it might be a bit difficult, but just go and see your councillor/ombudsperson. Be proactive.

And they changed ns again. Hired some new designers?

talk to your consular. if that doesn't work you may have to transfer. my gpa was reset when i transferred from uvm to umass. its easy to destroy your gpa but damn near impossible to raise it significantly.

It'd be reduntant but would retaking some classes cancel them out and replace them with a new grade?

Ya this. It will boost your GPA the fastest. You can probly hit 3.2 in 1 semester if you just retake the classes you fucked up in

Every one of my friends who can't get into the business program at my school normally majors in communications and minors in business. Although I don't know how well this works considering they're not too motivated to seek employment to begin with.

I once had a similar problem. My first two years of college i had a 1.6 GPA and my parents said they would stop paying for tuition if i didnt get As and Bs the next semester. The first day of class i found that my physics professor was actually a woman who was a complete bitch. After a few weeks of doing absolutely terrible in the class i decided it was time for a change. I went in to see her during office hours one day and found her in her office. As I walked in she told me to close the door behind me. I pulled out a few of my notes to ask her questions on but as I pulled them out of my bag she grabbed them from my hands and threw them to the side "I've been waiting for you" she said, and then proceeded to rip off all of her clothes and let me fuck her like ive never fucked before. Hot passionate, almost as though she REALLY knew what she was doing...

Next thing I know she tells me she was filming a big production porn film and needed something new and fresh to put in, something that noone had ever done before (questionably legal). She gave me $2,000 and an A+ for the rest of the semester.

This is my story. use it wisley.

I posted this thinking you screwed up one year, not two. It will take longer than a semester, but it's still the best way
