GOW 2 v.s. COD World at War

COD:WAW is amazing but i've also seen a few guys here playing GOW and i've gotta say the gameplay looks so sick.
 
The campaign on gears2 is fucknig awesome, multiplayer is so so. Don't buy COD, not the same COD people makin' it.
 
I'd just get Mirrors Edge if I were you. CoD WaW just wasn't fun to me when I played the beta. I really fell like they took a step in the wrong direction. O well, It'll just make 5 that much better.
 
gow 2 is crazy, cant be explained in words. honestly i dont know why youd wanna get cod, they made it so its in the past again, and every single one of there games was like that exept the last one, so i think it would get really old
 
gow 2 is absolutely amazing campaign, multiplayer is okay like gears 1, but cod waw will be kinda shitty, it's by the same people who made cod 3 which failed and i'm so sick of ww2

gears of war 2, hands down. one of the best games I have played in a while. but just wait for Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts haha

But gears i think is better. The new COD you can't really see what going on just like in the last few (except modern warfare). And it's WWII, so they is no cool weapons.

Gears new online is great, so many new modes like submission (meatflag) which i love playing. It's a lot better than the last one.
 
i dont get why people are still saying world at war is made by different people. treyarch and activision merged. world at war is call of duty 5. the company making 5 is the same as 4. the graphics engine is the same. after playing, its much better then 4 imo and basically every1 that ive played with so far has agreed. maps are muuuuuch better, weapons are way more fun. sound is better and gameplay too. WW2 is so much better. having a random helicopter shoot u thru a wall from the other side of the map sucked. the whole dog idea sounds dumb, but when you play its actually awesome. you can defend yourself against an attack, but they're vicious dogs.

the diff between WOW and GOW2 would be campaign vs multiplayer. GOW2 multiplayer still kinda sucks, but campaign amazing. WOW campaign is pretty good, but multiplayer is fucking amazing.
 
cod is sooo sick so much better range of weapons and the dogs are sickk and tanks are even sicker exept when ur not driving them lol
 
you're going too look a little dumb when COD5 comes out. World At War is just a COD game that was in between COD4 and COD5, COD5 is going to be wayyyy better than 4 or WAW, WAW is just a little project to keep COD fans entertained while 5 is being made.

call of duty 5 is world at war. call of duty 6 is the game that infinity ward is working to to possibly release next year. to say its not worth getting 5 cuz 6 will be coming out is stupid because 4 only came out a year ago and now 5 is here. 6 wont come out in the spring, its too close and will be delayed, like every other game. that, and call of duty 5 is fucking amazing.
 
CODWAW is way too similar to the first 3 games, the reason 4 was such a huge success is because gamers are sick of playing the same old WW2 games, with their shitty guns and the levels that are repetitive because we've seen them in 50 other games already.

WW2 games blow. end of story.

Well we arent talking about activision. we are talking about infinity ward. They are the ones who made cod 4 so dam awsome. now we have shitty treyarch again.
 
i was under the impression the merger thing was kind of a myth, cod fans got excited when they heard infinity ward would have something to do with it but it turns out treyarch was just making waw while infinity ward was working on cod 6 for fall of 2009
 
I dont have GoW2 yet Or WOW and im pretty much in the same situation, but i think that cod 4 is good enough for now, and ill prolly get wow later. and ive been playing gears 1 lately and love it . SOMEONE ADD MY GT SO WE CAN PLAY GEARS ONE! : Viisualtrip
 
if you want to have fun with a chainsaw in the most gore filled experience of your life then go GEARS. seriously my favorite part of the first one was the chainsaw its sooo sick but i felt like it got old by the end cuz all u did was cut monsters, in the new one ur just like cutting thorugh everything and shoving it into thebacks of monsters. pretty much the same shit but way better
 
yeah seriously, just wait until call of duty 5 next fall...infinity ward is making it....infinity ward and treyarch are total oppisites...activision basically gave treyarch the call of duty 4 engine and said "here take what we did with infinity ward and apply world war two graphics and weapons" and so here we have World at War
