I have no idea if I misunderstood, or I did understand and that was the most groan-worthy joke I've ever heard.
 
wait, so you are allowed to walk down the street with a concealed handgun, but you are not allowed to openly carry a long gun? How is a concealed handgun less of a threat than someone walking down the street with an unloaded long gun?
 
I know, nothing is going to stop a criminal from carrying a sawed off shotgun or a handgun. Lets take away the rights of the good because of the bad.
 
hmm...so concealed carry is the only way now...sounds safe! glad people are actually educated about firearms and concealed carry laws/ gun control.
 
Concealed carry permits are at the discretion of the Sheriff or Police Chief of that respective area (county or city depending) in the state of California. Certain counties give very, very few, others approve nearly every application. This law does not deal with concealed carry.
 
jesus californians let it rest, you either get easy access to weed or easy gun laws, you cant have both. thats bullshit.

Way to take away cop's ability to respond to actual calls because they have to put up with people freaking out seeing you walk down the streets with an AR15. If you really wanted to carry a rifle there's a war going on for the last 10 years. Instead of walking down the streets of suburbia you could of been fighting with us in Helmand River Valley. They aren't regulating shit, who says someone can't wear a trench coat with a long barrel gun concealed in it, thats worse. Also What you gotta realize is most of the guns used to shoot other people are not registered
 
Not where I'm from, haha. Either way, it's still too bloody high... Hell, 20 minutes away from where my parents live, a perfect-game winning professional baseball player just got attention for bringing a bat, and cursing at the police to a 'WTF WHY IS THERE SO MUCH CRIME?' rally because shit's starting to seriously hit the fan in California.

It's gotten to the point in my hometown where white kids are going around kicking in doors with sawed off shotguns and robbing places. It's not just minorities, or immigrants as most people like to point the finger at... WHITE kids are doing this shit... It happened a mile from my parents house. There's a reason for the concern.

I won't listen to that whole NRA "Guns don't kill people, people kill people bullshit for another second. And this is coming from someone who formerly owned 3 guns and has since grown up, realized guns are for idiots who actually believe in a zombie apocalypse or a North Korea/Iran invasion, and discarded them
