if you can't appreciate how hard hes tweaking right now, well, go home. this is on the last jump in slopestyle before he pulled his ski off. absolutely incredible his ankles can take this.

i dont get it, when it shows the jump lengths with the little digital measuring stick, it says the cannon box to the landing is 65 feet, but then it says just hitting the jump is 20 feet. that doesnt make sense at all
 
a bunch of years ago there was a dude around who had crazy tweaks going on. His name was Brendan Bushard or whatever his last name is. I swear I've seen him do a mute grab where his nose crossed past the other skis tail... I haven't seen him on skis in years. Anyone from Ontarible know if he's still given' 'er?

I believe he has a shot or two in the end credits of "Balance" as well, so if you got that video, check it and see what I'm talking about.
 
Brendan Buchar has a couple fo tricks in Ski Movie 2: High Society. He also had instructional videos on www.skiingmotion.com when it was still online. I think he said he was "pigeon-footed" or something, so his ligaments went overrotated without any strain. Sounds like that could be troublesome when you overrotate and then shit happens and you push on it full pressure. Ouch.
 
I think he got like a bit over 30, cause of landing one ski, even tho he stomped it they counted it like a crash it seems =(
 
Yeah, he has one of the best tricks in the movie, I think cork 9 with an incredibly tweaked toxic.. And the shot is so great: When he goes beyond the landing, some gaper (might be some good skier, don't know, but he's gaping with his mouth open) just turns to the camera and you can see his lips go " What the f.....?!"
 
i respect that. its true, most people could do that if they wanted to, but its hard doing that, and a huge bio 10, and landing one ski, all in the same jump.
 
idk i like spins that look natural grabs im not really sure if grabs show controll, landings do, having said that he landed it 1 ski so woooo, now he needs to learn how to click his ski off midair instead of accidently pulling it off
 
haha i own balance on VHS!!! Claim!! I love the halfpipe section where its like half dirt and the walls are hacked to shit...gotta love parks in 2000
 
yea, i got it on VHS as well. My oldest VHS videos are "Skiing's Last Stand" and "Degenerates" . I have a silly library full of way too many videos for my own good. and no you can't have any.
 
Yeah i have a pretty rediculous library as well. I went through a phase of only buying AM movies for a couple years so i have some pretty good randoms in there. what was the movie that had tanner and Mik D when they were like 17 drinking and smoking through the whole movie? I wanna say it was stereotype or scandalous?

 
scandalous. the vhs was purple if i remember correctly. I loved the german punk song they had in it. I've been looking for it lately, but can't remember the song, or the band name.
