i skied a good 20 days on my gotamas this summer. i busted 3 sidewalls but i warrantied em.

i rode a 190 (i'm 5'10, 160)

compared to the explosive, the ex would be like a sporty fat ferrari, and the gotama would be like a big fat v16 bentley. its easy to got mach 25 anywherere, though, the gotama is an even surface ski. as soon as it get choppy its too wide and tries to float on shit and doesn t have the stiffness to blow through it. but here no ones makes tracks, so its pretty sick. i wouldn t recomment it as a tourer or a resort ski, its quite heavy, i see it more as a big fat powder day, i m gonna bomb through everything before all of you day. i found also that the soft tail was quite forgiving when huckin shit. i started huckin shit. (pics and video comming soon). the wide surface and softness really allow you to stick a hole lot of shit easilly. The fat twin kills all the opposition that tries to follow you....

good review i had like 5 days on them this last winter and the review is pretty accurate.

Explosives are like a 4X4 jeep and gotamas are like a escalade with snow tires.

 
so... theyre really not that great.... but seth pistols are great.. the gnomes that live in the enchanted forests in my ears say... why yes, seth pistols are the shit, and undoubtedly better than gotamas.

^ya, seriously, what were they thinking. I would at least hope for something on par with the explosives as far as the ability to demolish everything in its path, oh well, mabe pistols...

so do the 190s ski like a lot shorter ski because of the big twin? I am not sure if I wanna get the 183s or 190s, im 5'10-11 and weigh like 170...

pussy, i ski where there is no trees, so i enjoyed them very much in a 190, my boss had them in a 183 and found them short, but then again this is all above tree line. then again, all the magazine review see this skis as a huge all around, it could only be me that's special...
