Gotama for me?

183 Gotamas for 6'1" 175 pounds used for good days at whistler in powder and groomers. and some big jumps

thoughts? alternatives?
 
My buddy got the 2008 183 gotamas last year and i got to take a couple laps with them. These skis are super stiff, super responsive and slay all over the mountain. They float, they carve groomers and are not too bad switch. At 175lbs you shouldn't be overpowered by the ski, i am 6'2" 175lbs and i had no problem. As far as taking them into the park, they stomped the landings forwards and switch but i didnt go in the pipe or slide any rails. The only issue with the ski may be the length but i love longer skis so they were sick. Hope this helps.
 
ya i think 190 would be too much ski for me, i need to be able to push these things around. what the weight like on the skis?
 
bear in mind that gots ski shorter than the length stated. i'd go 190 and mount further forward or maybe look into prophet 100s in a 186.
