I dunno about you guys but I just got my first term marks back.(university). I ended up with a 74 average and a 3.20 gpa, which I thought was killer since I ended up with a 55 in math. so pumped that i passed math though, i was sweetin for the last week.

Yeah the last two weeks or so of a semester are pretty nervous for me. I finished with a 3.0 for my third semester in a row. It's not too outstanding but considering that nearly all of my friends are on academic probation and the schools cumulative GPA is around a 1.7 I think it's alright.

I guess there's a discrepancy between how we grade and the states and how you guys do in Canada. Here passing is above 60 and above (60 being a d-). A 2.0 is a C... so if you have a + and minus scale, 73-77 is about a C. A 55 here would yield you a 0.0. Although, I don't know if there are differences that account for lower scores yielding gpas that would correlate to higher scores here...

 
65 is passing, at the military school i went to it was 73

At my school last year, most coures were 50. However, some of the ones I had to take for my program were 60.

at my high school 70 or above was passing, in college its 60 or above with the following scale.

A= 4.0 90+

B= 3.0 80+

C= 2.0 70+

D= 1.0 60+

F= 0.0 59-
