I strictly only ski armada now... Jp's Fucking huge. 188's the biggest ski i will ever be on. Centermounting them fo sho since im only 5'10 , thre a good 4-5 inches taller than me.. cannot fucking wait for tahoe powder. just bragin , thanks for reading. what did you get this season?

You got 3 skis that are all essentially made for the same purposes? Why not waste your money a little more..Idiot.

What makes you even stupider is that two of the skis you got suck dick. Good job on getting a dynastar pro model instead of saving yourself $50-$100 and getting a troublemaker instead (hint, IT'S THE SAME SKI), and as for the STL, well, I mean, if you wanna be able to break your skis while flexing them in the shop, then sweet. If not though, you should have gotten something else.

At least you had the intelligence to get the Invaders. Out of those three skis, they suck the least.

my bet is he'll also have fujatives, t-halls, and mick-d's before the season even starts.

as for the jp's.....i'm jealous. unless something else better comes along in the meantime, they'll be my next pair of skis (that is if my msp's ever die)

Excellent choice. Welcome to the club. Although centermounting seems a bit of a waste. Even on the reccomended line is a bit too far forward.

Armada T. Halls, and Seth Vicious', and i'm still riding my AR5's from last year, little stiffer, not so hot to butter with.

i agree with you that it's a little dumb to get three pairs of sticks that are for the same purpose, but when you live in ohio, you don't get to ski a whole lot of powder.

I'm thinking about getting some thin ass snowboards in the 188cm.....

To go with my Prophet collection....

and maybe some 185 ARVs...........

Maybe a VCT here or there.....

Oh no that's 5 skis that are essentially for riding Big Mountain! I must be an Idiot... Not. Don't talk shit on somebody's quiver if you don't know the fool. And Nick, I think you should mount the Jp's Backward 3cm back from center.

Ohios quiver is repetative, you can't get around that. A non repetive ec/mw quiver would be something like stl's,mad trix, moships or some "skinny" pow stick.

It's purely retarded to have three jib sticks, 2 is reasonable if one is for urbans.

im not trying to be an ass but i do ride switch 50% of the time. Taylor the ski god recomended a few cm's back so il probably do that.i dont want a squarlly ski whn i do have to put it on groomer's. 1-2 back.

because i love it .. and regular is boring. i dont think ive skiid a whole groomer regular in the last 2 years.

Haha... actually, I don't mind that idea... if you're absolutely bent on doing something ridiculous with those skis, that's a thought.

it would be cool to mount them backwards, but if you're skiing switch in powder often, there's a reaon for those huge ass tails. let us know what you do.

my 05 ar5s. the right one is missing a brake, maybe get some new skis at the end of the season or mid season. if i win a big poker tourney im gonna buy like 3 pairs though and a shit load of outer wear. and a trip to mammoth whistler and winter park wooooo. gotta win though

nah, the skis have way to much design into them going forward. there not made for going switch plus they dont have semetrical sidecut so i woudl be dragging the "back" around sking regular.

me 2. jsut going down a groomer is boring usualy im just poping off stuf on the side or skiing switch down them if i do it

TRUST me, if you mount those suckers at center you're going to be hooking the tails a lot anyway. At least if you mount them in the right spot but backwards they'll ski they way they're supposed to... except, uh, switch.

im not gonna center them i deided. going 1 or 2 back , it wouldnt true center anyways, i didnt get paperwork with them so i dont know what the suggested line is at but im liking it. If its core center then il prob mount on the suggested line , true center is for park rats.

It's about 2.5-3 back, and most people who mount them there still think it's too far forward. I don't think anyone on the Armada team has them there. But if you're going to be using them for BC booters then it'll be okay.

I'll second JD's info. I originally mounted mine last year on the line and they were definitely too far forward.

I then remounted -2 and they were much improved.

Honestly if I had to do it over again, -3 might be the money spot.

Calskier, the skis are so light, going back a bit more won't affect you much.

nicholas hopkins, you are a midget. that means you can ride these skis closer to center and still float/charge like a champ. it's not like vicious where if he centermounted he'd have 200 pounds out over the nose. you weigh like a buck twenty, just put them on the line.

Thanks for making it not easier Bret Donnely. i think im gonna go 1 cm back from the line as of 10pm sunday night. With solomon s914 binders for duribility not DIN.

It's not so much the rider weight as it is the sidecut, it just skis oddly on the suggested line apparently (I wouldn't know as mine are behind it a few cm). But hell, do what you want...

Nick have you or anyone else on NS ever skied a ski with a wider tail than tip? Yes. T$ HAS. Salomon made a GS race ski like that and it charged soooo fast it actually picked up speed each turn. Plus with what's being said about the sidecut you could ski them like 5cm behind true center backwards and be legit. BTW nobody should Ever use Armadas marked line you should Always measure because they have a hard time marking a pair of skis evenly. If you mount them regular take some measurements first and then we'll discuss some more. I'll look at them tomorrow in the shop and make further analysis. You definitely want to find the sweet spot of the radius on a ski that length at your weight.
