Got an Underage last night, someone help me out

Alright, so I was at my friends birthday party at Villanova University in Philly, Pa. Were at his house (everyone there is either 19/20) and cop pulls up, most people take off, i jumped a bunch of fences but they had the dogs out so i said fuck that and they brought me back to the house. I blew a .139. The cop mentions something about asking the judge about an alcohol awareness program instead of the license suspension. I also got a citation for running as well. I suck.

I'm just wondering if anyone here knows about the ARD program or the Youth Offender Program (YOG) or anyway i could possibly pay a huge fine and do community service or something instead of the suspension ( I drive to school and my job is far away and such). I know most of you guys don't know shit about legal side of things, but if you do any help is appreciated. Thanks.
 
the judge could issue you a "7 to 7" license meaning you can only drive between 7am and 7pm allowing you to drive to work and school, that being said, once you start running, just keep fucking going dude, you're gunna get dicked for trying to run and stopping i hate to break it to you, dogs don't hop fences very well you mighta been able to get away, but a .139? good job haha you were like 10x the legal limit for a minor in the states
 
oh also, when you go before the judge, put on a suit, if you have long hair, cut it, get a lawyer, and make it appear as if this is out of the ordinary for you, that's the best line of defense you have at this point
 
strength in numbers, never be the guy trying to bolt away from a party. What would they have done, breathalize everybody and take every underage person there to the drunk tank for the night?

basically first time drinking offenses almost always are offered a diversion program of some sort, which is basically some classes and community service and then it gets dropped from your record. Not a bad deal at all although i've had 3 underage drinking ordeals and never had it as an option
 
Well they got a noise complaint from the neighbors, and when they answered the door i guess they saw something? i'm not actually sure, i didn't stop to ask questions i kept running ha
 
dude i had cops show up 3 different times to my apartment when i was underage and i didn't get shit, why? because i wasn't a dick head, i wasn't belligerent, i treated them with respect and they just asked us to turn the music down and that's it. but i've been arrested for other shit, also if this was within the city limits of philly the judge will probably be like "we have way worse issues than some 19 year old getting drunk, case dismissed" but you have have have to look presentable, otherwise they will dick you
 
seriously if they got a noise complaint then that is why the cops were at the place, nobody had to get in trouble for underage drinking hahaha all they do is make people leave and give noise violations to the owners of the place
 
I also got an underage in PA about a month ago. Heres what you do:

Find out the judge's name and call his office directly. Tell him it is your first offense and you would like it to be dropped to an "Open container of alcohol" charge rather than an underage. With that, your fine will be about $100, you will have to do community service (only 10-15 hours), and you will have to go to get an evaluation from a drug and alcohol treatment center, stating that you don't have a drinking problem. Your license will not be suspended as long as you complete everything within 90 days.'

last year 27 seniors out of a class of 200 got minors in one night......also the skool surfed facebook and saw pics of ppl drinking and booked them too....idk the charge but lots of ppl got kicked out of NHS and lost letters and capitanships
 
I've done the YOP program in PA when I got my underage, and its really easy. When you participate in the program they dismiss the charges against but they will still take your license in PA for 90 days no matter what if you get an underage. So as far as I know the only way to keep your license is to get out of it completely or get the charges dropped to something else. You can get that provisional license for work and stuff but that costs more money which sucks. If you are not from PA then they will let you keep your license but you cant drive in the state for 90 days. That was my experience at least. Hope that helps.
 
i dont get it, if i understand correctly you were not driving a car, why would you get your license suspended? and why the fuck would the cops bring dogs for a noise disturbance? and why would the cops give you an alcotest? taht shit costs a lot of money.

im sorry but this sounds rediculous, the cops in your town need to get a life

 
did you actually see the dogs? cause i ran from the police once and they yelled that they were going to release the dogs but i never actually saw or heard them so i question whether they really had any. i think they just wanted to freak you out so you didn't run.

running from the police and getting away with it is a sweet rush though. those were the good old days.
 
that and you'll probably be able to just do ACT classes or whatever alcohol program they offer and some service hours. but you're looking at harsher punishment if this was your 2nd or so on time getting fucked in the ass. sucks man sorry to hear that it happens even at the VILLA.
 
That's so gay you have to do community service. You're just chilling at your friends house, having a few brews next thing you know you're running from the cops. For underage drinking i think they should just make you pour your shit out and make you go home. That's what they did at one party i was at.
 
We used to get a $20 fine as MOST. More often than not we would have to tip out the alcohol and the cop would issue a warning.

they cant prove that its really alcohol. Same thing for bud.
 
they can when ur drinking cpt morgan straight out of the bottle...thats what my friend was doin....others had cans or bottles in thier hand in the pics....some were drinking it....overall its just the fact that my skool is gayer than ryan seacrest taking it up the ass from clay akin and andy dick
 
10 of my friends got underages in PA, but it was really relaxed. They paid a $100 fine, and had to go to 1 day of DATS classes. Your license doesnt get suspended for your first underage.
 
i thought you were gonna say your like 20 and hooked up with a 16 year old. and how do i get them to stop calling me. cause those mother fuckers are cling ons
 
that fucking sucks

i got caught almost unconscious underage outside passed out, blew a .33 and was taken to the hospital, but i didnt get in trouble with the law at all, just a hospital bill and being mandated for therapy at my college.

then this summer i hosted a party at my house and 100 people showed up and the popo broke it up, and all they did was make me dump all the beer and call my parents
 
Getting your license taken away basically runs hand in hand with underage drinking violations. You don't have to be driving to get it taken away.
 
maybe you guys measure it differently then, because here it's measured in ... whatever the next thing after percent is... like 1 out of 1000

 


I am goin throught this currently In PA close to were you got cought and will have court so listen up.

basiclly in Pa if you get an underage you will lose your liscense for 90 days for your first offense it is a mandatory sentence. And you will have to pay a fine and that depends on the judge and your case.

Also get a lawyer because no judge will talk to you around here and no one will take you seriously

your options are basicly

A) have your lawyer talk to the judge and try to get a disporderly conduct or a lesser charge (which will still carry a fine and be on your record)

B) take the underage plead guilty get the liscense suspenstion and the fine. with this option you also will NOT be able to get an occupational liscense because with an underage in PA you are unable to apply for it

C) have your lawyer talk to the judge and ask about ARD ( Alcohol rehabilitation discussion, I think thats what it stands for) I believe you are only able to take this if it is your first offense so hopefully for you it is. It is a 4 week course 2x a week 2 hours at a time. with this option you do not enter a plea of guilty or not guilty, you complete the course sucessfully and the charge is wiped from your record. there are no fines with this option buttttt there is a catch you go still have to do the liscence suspention for 90 days but since there is no underage on your record you are able to apply for an occupational liscense if youll get it or not I cant say but its avalible to you. And with the suspention your insurance will go up Not sure how much because I'm not there yet but It will go up

so those are your options or atleast they were mine I took choice C because I didnt want anything on my record.
