Got 70 grand laying around?

I'll agree with you unless you're talking 6 or 7 series, and maybe z series. Otherwise yeah, they're not that big of a deal.

Thank you! I mean seriously I see so many 3 and 5 series (old and new) and they are just so over hyped. Personally I prefer Audi > Merc > BMW

It's an automatic.... That made it all the more lame. Id so much rather have a EK hatch swapped with a built K series engine any day...

I guess it just depends what you like, personally if I had enough money to buy a mercedes (and if business school pans I hopefully will hahah) I would hands down go for one over an Audi, probably an AMG. But I see what you mean, Audi doesn't really have a car that I don't like and I can't say the same about Mercedes. I guess everyone has their opinion though.

ill agree with audi, i dont really like mercs though, my mom has had a couple of them and meh...too heavy, weird handling, etc...might be different for the smaller ones though, she had bigass S-classes
i had an older A4 until last december...manual 2.8 quattro...LOVED that car, only problem was it had 130,000 miles on it and it started breaking all the time and those things are way too expensive to fix
so my parents said theyd help me get a new car for graduating, id pay 7 grand and they would pay the rest...i wanted to get a new A4 but since audi has been doing better than all the other german auto makers lately, it was impossible to 1) find a new A4 quattro in my vicinity, and 2) afford one once i found it
BMW, on the other hand, was practically giving cars away...i wanted a 3 series 4-door with the new X-drive, but they're brand new and nobody was haggling on them...
meanwhile the best dealership in town offered me a crazy deal on a 2008 X3 with like 5000 miles on it...it doesnt LOOK as sweet as some cars, but it's ostensibly 4WD and the straight-6 is an amazing engine, so i like it for now as a good mountain car, it held up well in Colorado last season and im planning on using it again
ill probably trade it in toward an A4 or an X-drive 3 series eventually, but for now i really enjoy the thing

dumbest car feature ever. i cant believe this guy spent 70k on a really nice/fast car and took all the fun out of it by buying an automatic. idc how fast a car is, autos arent cool. anybody and their mom can push the gas pedal and make the car go forward. id rather have a beater with a 5 speed.

when you buy it stock its only 54k this guy added that another 20k in the engine. So buying that exact car right there would be 70k and with all the mods that thing is prolly over 600hp and is only a little heavier than the m3. that car in the video would crush an m3

Maximum horsepower in that car comes at 6800 RPM. Redline is at 7000. So you have a window of 200 revs to get the most out of each gear and then shift, or else you're losing acceleration because of the redline. So if you really want to get the most out of the car, you have to leave it on full automatic and not even use the paddle shifters, because most human beings aren't that fast.

Also, those tailpipes are for show. They aren't actually connected to anything.

It's a stupid car.

meh i deffanatly like BMW better then Merc. I work as a valet and get to drive a ton of nice cars and the only benzes i like are the amgs. I honestly feel more comfortable in and think my brothers CRV is a better car then the benz suv we had for a shuttle (forgot the name it was like 2 years ago).

V Series>ISFM3>ISFV Series=M3
I really don't know which i'd want more. I've driven a V Series and i haven't driven an M3 so i'm not sure. V Series is sick though.

damn. why all the hate? you all have hard ons for 95 subaru outbacks and are hating on an isf? it's such a sick car if you dont have a douche bag explaining it to you . i was turned away by the paddle shifters though. they are quite lame. it makes no sense that they offer an is 250 with a 6 speed and only offer paddle shifters on an isf. hopefully the 6 speed will come to the isf eventually though.

why the fuck would you spend 20g to turbocharge a car and run 5psi boost wtf build the engine and turn that shit up to like 30psi but i guess it doesnt really matter cuz in the end its just an automatic toyota

Something tells me that guy had money and that's about it. He probably wouldn't put that car to the test if it was a standard.

hahaha how much boost you run depends on the size of the turbo bud. a small turbo could be boostin 30 psi and not making as much power as a big turbo that's only boosting 7 psi. now turbo lag would suck monster cock, but that's not the point.

if you're impressed by the so-so car selection in the Chi, come to Vegas. i used to live in Chicago and they don't have SHIT compared to Vegas when it comes to fly rides.

exact opposite where I live, about 6 years ago it was all about BMW, but now every other car I see is a a4/s4 a6/s6 and s5's. Starting to really like the new 7 series without the fucked up taillights and the new m3's are dirty. I guess towns just go through phases, merc should be takin over in a bout a year i'd guess.

My list

BMW>Merc>Audi

one year ago it would have been BMW>Audi>Merc, bit especially for a4's, they are turning into the new jetta, all I see is 18-25 year old chics drivin em. Still take an RS6 Avant over any of em though!
