word I think im going with Option #2 and just add another 19" flat editing crt to my setup, another 512mb ram, external hd, xbox360 and new tv, sattalite surround sound, plus all the other shit

other shit! editing videos on a 13 inch laptop would be mad annoying. I'd either get the other shit, or try to by some means get more money and get a dope ass like 15.4 macbook pro or somethin. But I'd prolly just get that other list of stuff, except for the 8 foot whatever you called it, I'd just pocket some more dough instead of gettin that, assuming that you prolly wouldn't really use it all the frequently.

Sure hes not working at the best fucking camera store out there, but working there for as long as he has im pretty sure he knows his shit on cameras, regardless if its lower end product, he will still be quite familiar with higher end shit, even tho he doesnt sell it. he knows the fundamentals of it. so maybe "it aint worth shit" but you, sir, dont seem to be an intelligent individual. your wrong, only mexican weed is less than 2000 a lb in the US

buy an HP and either sit on it selling sacks and double your money or flip it in big bags as fast as you can making a couple hundred per HP

when you have like 5 grand, then buy what ever it is that you want

if your under 17 or 18, then no one else your age will be buying weight anywhere near yours, so you can offer better deals and still make more money; OR sell to all your friends who buy OZs and and either give them deals or make nice cash.

if you dont know where to get a an HP, go where you would for an O and ask, if they cant their supplier can (try and meet their connection and dont front your cash)
 
Go with the computer ugprades and camera stuff...

a couple cranes and maybe some cam tracks to roll down when your filming....

that will pay off more than a HP of weed... lol

go with choice 2, youll have such great movies with the camera crane. almost as good as a heli shot.
 
dude, i got the newest one like last year... its like a company for moms and dads to edit home videos of there kids playing soccer. not for skiers tryin to make ill edits quick

pretty much adobe is the best reasonable program for pcs, and final cut is the best reasonable program for macs
 
premier > anything else for pc

avid is legit but it takes a lot more to run and I dont like it that much
 
that would be cool except helicopter chartering is about $10 a minute... so you would get a 2.5 hours... but you could prolly heli-ski for a few days with 1500. i would go option 2. but dont buy oakleys cause thier shit is made in sweatshops.
 
eh. if you dont like it then you dont like it. from what ive fooled around with, pinnacle's newest version is the easiest and best. adobe is also great so im not gonna take anything away from it. one thing i dont know if the difference between using it with macs and pcs. i know they are compatable but im not sure if its the best.
 
then lets just say its for pc. premiere is still far better and way easier to use. if pinnacle was so great then everyone would be using it. they arent. probably because its not. you could have finished this whole conversation if you woulda just said that pinnacle was the best for the money. i doubt anyone would have argued. but IMO its still not worth it. like the guy a few up said. its for moms and dads.
 
yea you need a graphics card to run final cut. the macbook has integrated graphics so it wont work. im returning mine today and its gay cuz thers a 10 percent restocking feee
 
i only buy Sony premiums/excellences/HDs. I get them in bulk for only $60. And yes I will be using the 8 foot cam jib a lot, wait and see. I've been in the film game for a while I know whats up
