why does everyone hate gorilla steez? for some people, like myself, it is my natural style when i approach jumps. i dont try and go gorilla steez so i can be cool and look like tanner and stuff, its just natural and most comfortable for me. i dont see how a style of skiing is hated so much

well personally i think its pretty rad... trust me, not to be like tanner, but sometimes i get down like that and stuff just to adjust to some jumps... i mean some jumps i dont need to, but others it just feels like i hafta get low going up to it to comfortably do a big grab...

read about tanner hall and gorilla style in the new freeze when you get it. he talks about trying to get away from it now. so we can now see whether the fad will die out or not.

almost positive he talked about it in new freeze, i didn't have a lot of time to read so i skimmed

first of all, dont dis on baby-rapers. second, i think the gorilla steeze is the shit on rails, it looks way smoother and helps you grind rails cause you keep your weight forward and on your front foot. i havent really tried it out on jumps, but whatever dude, it is tits though

Look at tanners hall in propaganda and look at it in happy dayz. How does someones style really change that drastically? I don't get it.

 
That is how I ski I like it cause I fell more blanched on rails and going off a jump, just fells right. I’m not trying to copy tanner at all that’s just the way I ski.

 
haha, i'm gonna start the opposite of gorilla steeze. It's gonna be called pencil steeze, where you spin with your legs completely straight and do rails without bending your knees, hahah.

I don't mind people crouching low on rails and it helps me too but I prefer to crouch without putting my hands way down by my ankles as in my opinion that makes it look like you're trying to take a dump on the rail or something.

Gorilla Steeze like Tanner and Dash Longe do it looks ridiculous. It basically eliminates any style you may have, I think those two skiers have two of the worst styles in skiing right now. But ya, whatever floats your boat, you might thing what I like looks like shit, it's all personal preference.

 
when im riding around i think about ti but when im actully aproaching the jump i jsut go rilla naturly
