GoPro vs GoPro 2?

Im thinking about buying a gopro cam soon, and since the new version came out im wondering if i should buy it instead the old one? So should i spend lil more money for the newest vers, or just buy the older version?

well i don't know how much the old ones are going for now, but if they are fairly close in price might as well get the new one. but if not, i have two old ones with the updated firmwares and i really like them. i still get great quality out of them

i think the main real difference between the old and new is the low light capabilities. the old ones aren't very good if the sun gets behind the mountains. but the are pretty similar in the other aspects i think. haven't actually used a 2 but just from what ive seen and heard

Just buy the original hd hero the price difference isn't justified considering features aren't THAT improved

If you film a lot at night, or you film inside houses like during party or places where light might be an issue, buy the 2. If you only use it for filming skiing and shit on the hill, buy the original!

Ive used the 960,HD1 and HD2. The HD2 is my favorite camera!

i have some pretty sick vids in slow mo that i couldnt take on my old gopro the 2 is a lot better

Just get the Go pro not the 2 everyone is over sicing it

the old one gets washed out with even the slightest bit of sunlight...

get the Hero 2

you can make a pretty decent polarizer filter with movie theater 3d glasses to help on those really bright days i think

Sorry for threadjacking, what would be the best sdhc card for the 2? I already have a couple of Sandisk extreme running at 30/mpbs does it need to be any higher than that too make it smoother?
