GoPro vs Contour

I have been considering getting a gopro, but many of my friends have had them break/fall off recently. let me know what you think..
 
Dude i got my gopro a week ago and i love it i would get the gopro... The problems with the mounts falling off helmets with the gopro was probably caused by people not giving the adhesive enough time to set and/or did it in cool temperatures so the adhesive lost alot of strength.And the helmet version comes with a helmet strap so you dont have to deal with mounts...as for the contour im not shure i hevent looked into them much....heres a video that i did on my gopro in 960p (r4)...
 
They both are very good camera's honestly. Seems like the Contour is a little on the dark side when used with out the box settings. Once it is setup it shots a as good or little better vid than Go Pro I think. Check out Collin Collins edits on Vimeo as he uses a Contour. Really cant go wrong with either.
 
It all depends on what type of filming you are going to be doing if you are doing like 80/20 POV/follow cam then i would say get the GoPro because it is a wide angle lense when the contour is not. I have the GoPro an i love i had a problem with one of my mounts i contacted them and they sent me 2 new ones. GoPro is my favorite company to do business with. they take care of their customers.
my vote is for the GoPro
 
Took me like 3 or 4 tries to understand that. Punctuation win. You honestly cannot go wrong with either.
