GoPro Mount?

Ok so I just bought a GoPro (Naked) and I love it. I only used it for about 2 hours and stuck the mount on 2 different objects (helmet and handle). Is it normal that the mount is already starting to be less sticky? When I stick the mount to something, the mount will detach as soon as I touch the cam. This is extremely frustrating and I hope there is something I am missing, thanks!

use super glue and duct tape to really secure it down

Not super glue, I don't want the mount to stay on something forever. Duct tape could be ok I guess. But my question is, ain't the GoPro mount supposed to hold without anything helping it?

one mount is supposed to be permanent for whatever you put it on? thats what i think? is this thread real?

Yea the gopro mount has the strongest adhesive of its type from 3m, It goes on easy, hard as fuck to pull off whatever you stuck it on, and really not reuseable.

Haha true that aren't reusable. I fell really hard on my head on my Mountain bike and knocked a mount clean off my helmet. All the stickiness was gone afterwards.

Clean area with rubbing alcohol

Wait 5 minutes

Stick and press for 1-2 minutes

wait 24 hours

Then it should be set

**FYI this is a variation of what they recomend, I get great results when I do it this way. Also they are not reusable

That's the GoPro cult. I have never used it because I haven't gotten a GoPro yet but there might be info on fixing your problem. And if not it would be a good resource if you every have questions.
