GoPro Hero 3 vs Garmin VIRB Elite

Ive been doing some research and it seems that this Garmin is better than the GoPro has anyone used these things? Were i work i can get a GoPro black edition for about 279.99 and the Garmine for 169.99 so witch one should i get?

Ive heard people say that the Garmin makes ur stuff look like your looking through sunglasses

The garmin is suppose to have a 3 hour battery and also has the gps with is so it can tract your elivation, speed, and where you have been. The gopro does have more opions when it comes to settings because you can't change this frames per second and things of that nature when it comes to the garmin
