Gopro helmet mount

So my friend has a gopro and yesterday we gave our friends the gopro to film with as we were hitting the park.. so we thought it would be pretty easy for them but they ended up cutting off almost all of the shots from the head up or some only waist and up, and this is just holding the camera, we currently don't use a pole/helmet mount. I'm trying to convince my friend that a helmet mount would work to follow cam somebody else, but he thinks its too high up. Does anyone have a good example of a follow cam with a gopro mounted on a helmet?

Why would you use the Go Pro without a mount? As a normal camera, it sucks. No stabilizer, no display, no zoom, not the best quality... The only reason to have a Go Pro is to attach it to something.
