Such a rad camera! I was going to get one, but then I found out that they're releasing an HD GoPro, so I'm waiting for that shizz to drop!

true, same here, i'll rather save up a bit longer and get a full HD for the price of a normal camera...ps: they're dropping the full HD this fall...(google it if you like....)

I can tell you right now that as far as "HD" quality goes, its going to look like shit. I just want something with a bit more res than what's currently available.

can the go pro hero wide go under water.

can these be used as a hand held camera.

can you attach them to skis, skateboard, longboards, etc

^^why do you think the HD is going to look like shit?the old goPro looked pretty sick, so the HD should look even better...And consider this: you're paying "only" 300 bucks on a full HD that normally costs double, so offcourse it wont be supergood quality, but it'll definately be great....

its probs gonna be super compressed low bitrate avchd, far from full hd but still the best thats out there. Pesonally i like the contourhd cause of its form factor and rotating lens but its only 720p

i've met with the owner of GO PRO and he showed my the footage from the new HD version and it's amazing. you're looking at a full 1080p helmet camera for only $299.99 USD. professional quality at a decent price. can't wait for the new one.
