Gopro Battery

I'm not super into filming/editing but me and my friends all have gopros so sometimes over the weekend we make a quick edit. My battery dies faster than all of theirs, about 1-2 hours on standby. Does anyone know why? I haven't tried a booster pack and I might just buy a cheap new battery. Any suggestions?

Make sure you charge it until the red light stops shinning and if its old or if you have left it charging for a straight 24 hours the battery might be messed up.

Thanks, will do

I have the power pole (from polar pro). I like it because it gives plenty of battery to film with, and I can use it to charge my phone as well. Can't use the waterproof housing and charge at the same time. Not a problem for me, but could be for some.

During cyber monday I bought a few batteries, they are the go pro batteries but they seem to boost the battery time by two. For some reason the stick batteries in all the cameras I've ever owned just suck and thats why its good to have more than one or even more than two.
