GoPro and bluebird weather

Hey you GoPro pros. Is there any adjustments, affects, etc. you can do to make a GoPro work better on a bluebird day? I use Sony Vegas if that makes any difference.
 
Nothing you can physically do to your go pro. Although i heard some guy made a UV filter for the lens.
 
also this, and try to avoid pointing it right at the sun (if you do it will wash out/overexpose everything else)

I bought the uv filter on ebay and its working really good even when your pointing direct at the sun and in low light condition.I think it well worth the 20$ but be careful not to loose it because its tiny. http://vimeo.com/18807391 one of my edits with some color corection but still gives you the idea
