How have I not seen anything about this? Nothing on their site or even google. I have seen it and hear it is being released monday.11 megapixel camera, wifi attachment, .5 and 1 second photo modes. I'm sure theres more new features, that's just what I've seen on the box

I'm hoping it will work with the original with the 3d kit
 
that would suck if they release it on monday... Im just getting one now :( haha oh wait it was free and I won it fuck yes /claim
 
I wouldnt say worthless. Ive always wanted faster than a photo every 2. I forgot, you can also do 10 fps.I dont think its anything spectacular in the changes, I was just surprised that I have heard NOTHING about it, but there it was.
 
looks the same, the only thing possibly different is that the red light looked a little bigger.

Im thinking maybe some features will come as a firmware update?
 
Download + install the latest firmware. It gives you the option for a frame every second in timelapse mode, along with better colors and software for the bacpac
 
I wish there was a red light on top of the gopro for when you have it in the chesty and surfboard mount, or handlebar mount, or really anything in front of you

Still doesn't make sense because OP said that it can now do a photo every .5 or 1 seconds. If that's a big new feature, how could it possibly be able to take 10 photos a second as well?

doesn't add up, i'm calling imagination land. or at least incorrect specs
 
New go pro is coming, just not sure if it's actually being announced Monday. I've seen photos of it, and was told about a few new features.
 
makes more sense to be for photots than for video, as there's already 60 fps, unless 10 fps is a super high resolution.

this whole thing is clearly bullshit anyway.
 
well obviously, yeah. but i'm just saying, a photo every .5 or 1 second wouldnt be a big deal if it could take a photo every 1/10 of a second. so to have those two rumored specs together just doesn't make sense.
 
10 fps is for a burst photo mode.photo every .5 seconds is if you want to wear it around taking pictures every half second or do like a timelapse or other such things.

I will bet all of you imagination people a gopro that it will be available on monday. When it is, you can all buy me one. If its not, i'll buy all of you one
 
i guess that makes sense. personally i never understood the whole 'wear it around and have it take a photo every 1 or 2 seconds' thing, i would much rather just turn it on burst mode when i'm about to do something. so the .5 or 1 second feature just seems useless to me.
