I've made a few posts the past few months discussing the fact that I dislike backcountry movies and backcountry segments in general, just due to the fact that I can not relate to them. I got many replys saying "Y r an idiot dude just move out west", which honestly never seemed like a possibility. It's probably not the best idea but i am taking a hiatus from school and moving to SLC in november with a good friend of mine, oficiall ski bum status haha. I have never skied real powder before in my life let alone hadthe abillity to ski the best terrain in the world. I have never been so stoked!!!!! Thought I would share, see you fools out there!
 
right on dude, thats sick. i moved out to PC from NY this year and it is sick. you will love it.
 
You can make almost anything happen if you really want to, so good choice for going for it! Don't hold your expectations too high though, this year has been a super good snow year and the ones following are usually less than stellar. But there will still be snow and plenty of other things to do, especially if you have a mountain bike.
 
I mean it's utah, even if they have a terrible snow year, it will still trump anything in the east am I not correct?
 
i use to think the same thing

i skied powder much more

and cant get enough of it

I would imagine it would be even more fun on better skis

 
Good move, you know you'll have the best time. I made the move from 7 Springs, sometimes I actually miss the place.
 
I am from pittsburgh and skied 7 springs all the time until I moved to park city now I am skiing this in april...
