fuck it's fast!just downloaded for the mac- everyone should go get it if they don't already have.
i'm in awe.
 
I hate google these days., waiting to get an email account settup on rise up. Where they don't save and scan all your emails.

Google is sketchy, I want to delete my gmail, and stay the hell away from it. I already stopped using google search(which I always loved)
 
yea it puts the other browsers to shame. Only browser that works with goddamn facebook chat / newschoolers shitty video streaming
 
is that a fact? i had chrome on my pc in the summer and i dont recall it having this disability? maybe i just didnt notice.

and i just ran a java applet with chrome...?
 
downloadin' it right now. but i do love me some firefox. we'll see who becomes the ultimate victor later tonight. let the battle begin!
 
Weird. I just opened chrome and everything works for me now. It wasn't working last week when I finally upgraded to 7
 
I decided it was time for me to get over my fear of change and went to download it. they told me on the download page multiple times that it would take merely seconds to download. i waiting for 2 minutes and the download did not even begin. they lied. fuck you google chrome, firefox will always be my browser of choice.
 
i tried it when they had the beta and it was about the same as firefox. might have to give it another try
 
Listen dude, if I really wanted I could steal your identity anyways, all of the info is already on the internet so why worry about it? If your that worried maybe you should unplug your computer now, turn off your cell phone and go lock yourself in a dark room.
 
Yea it's damn fast, i used firefox for a while but it was slow as hell on NS so i switched to chrome and i ain't lookin back!
 
Identity theft? Lol, I care little about that. Thats blown up more as a scare tactic to get more control.

google, saves all of your email transactions indefinitely. To even make a gmail account these days they ask for a cell phone number for confirmation. So they have your cell phone linked to your email.

As for cookies those are all saved. Google scans your mail, that's what they use to generate ads for you. If you type a bunch of certain keyword in a email you could get an alert sent out and be getting arrested quite fast. It's actually happened to people before.

Just ask Brandon Mayfield. As for your cell phone turning it off does nothing. You can triangulate a cell phone even with the power off unless the battery is removed. As for the internet it's already being patrolled a ton harder, with more regulation and watching to come.

Just keep joking about it dude. Have you actually ever read anything about the fusion centers? Check it out, if you have might think a little bit differently. A massive network for profile trying to gain any information on people they can. But as long as your not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about right?
 
does it have an add-on for mouse gestures and stumbleupon?

i can't stand not having mouse gestures for browsing and stumbleupon is also a must.
 
its just not for me, especially since it cant do stumbleupon and i miss my bookmarks toolbar

probably both fixable, but i'm a lazy shit
 
yeah.. i always forget to use it..
but its still way better then firefox.
YOU CAN DRAG TABS AROUND AND MAKE THEM INTO NEW WINDOWS
 
a lot of the features listed are also features of firefox 3.5

including incognito(called private browsing in firefox), drag tabs and drag out to make as a window. dragging an adress to the tab bar will open it as a new tab, AD BLOCK PLUS, and a shit load more. i admit, chrome is nice though.

ill use chrome on chromium os for sure though
 
yet to be convinced that chrome > safari...
no denying its fast but tab bars always there + favicons are ugly as fuck...same with top sites
from my pov not worth the change
 
if you have a shitty comp, you need to use this browser, it uses about half the ram internet explorer and firefox uses
 
Chrome is fast as hell for gmail.

The good (and bad) thing about Chrome is that it's fast. Basically, it's always 'buzzing' so it's using a bunch of RAM and it's ready to move the instant you want it to. FF and other browsers go dormant when your not actively using them, so there's a minute bit of lag for them to wake up and follow your commands. Sometimes I run itunes, Lightroom and Fruity loops and chrome on my laptop and it just can't handle it. This is when I use FF.

Also, does anyone know of an EXIF viewer plugin for Chrome? I need one.
