I just had my hard drive wiped, and I reinstalled Google Chrome. Does the newest version of Chrome only have the bookmarks bar on the "New Tab" page? I'm having trouble - it was never like this.

Here is when I have the new tab page - notice the bookmarks bar. Before, this was attached to the top of the page (there was no white space).

Now, when I go to any page, the bar disappears.

Ctrl+Shift+B

The bookmarks bar youre seeing is part of the new tab page, not the actual bar.

look up the speed dial extension too. much better new tab page, recommend it to everyone new to chrome.
 
THREAD JACK (since his problem was solved)

I have been using Chrome pretty much since the beginning, and I've never had any problems, until about a month ago when all my extensions delete themselves and refuse to re-install. I have tried re-installing Chrome, even down-grading with no luck, my extensions just randomly stopped working.

Anyone know what's up?
