Thoughts:
1) Goode's stuff has always been on the expensive side.
2) They have largely marketed to the wealthy, older, weekend warrior set.
3) They will probably market this as a must have for your Canadian Heli Ski trip.
The problem is going to be when one of their "more mature" skiers, decides to try and ski this at a ski area on a powder day, catches that 90 degree angle tip on a mogul and does their first involuntary misty 9. That will go over well.
