i'm sorry, but it's time for him to go. I used to love watching this guy play, i saw some of the biggest saves ever come from this guy. But i am sick and tired of the sens losing or tying because of him. I dont remember the last time this guy got 30 shots on him in a game, that's how much his team is supporting him. I thought it was a slump, but it wasnt. Nothing is really workin out for this guy, and nothing really changes. Maybe he is just having a shit season, but now that the sens are actually making money, he is picking an awesome time to do it.

The sens pbly dont even have to spend that much money to get a better goalie, Huet in LA is doing an awesome job, gerber in anaheim ditto. Clemmenson, and Maclennan would be awesome deals too. Fuck, even Garon.

If they dont make it to the Conference finals, and its because of him, then the sens are gonna let him go. The main reason why they dont wanna put prusek in anymore is because he doesnt have any playoff experience, but he is still one of the top 10 in the league.

^^^ I agree totally with you man, but i figure its their own fault... I mean we have spent lots of money improving our D and forwards, but what we need to do is get a really good goalie that is gonna bring us far into the playoffs. Not even necessarily someone with lots of experience, cause as we have seen with Barasso that did not work out at all... If the sens are gonna win the cup, they are gonna have to do it without Lalime, cause he blows ass

Don't complain until you have one of these three problems:

1. You're paying over $20 million a year for goalies, and your starter is Manny Legace (Detroit)

2. Your goalie seems to be nearsighted, and can't handle shots from centre ice (Vancouver)

3. Your goalie is Chris Osgood...I need say no more. (St. Louis)

OR

4 You don't HAVE a goalie! (Who was it whose goalie got tossed earlier this year, and they didnt have a backup? I forget, but it was funny as shit)

Lalime isn't bad, he's for sure better than a lot of eastern goalies, and he stays healthy. You CANNOT switch goalies this late in the season and hope to have playoff success. It's a baaaaad idea.

I really wanna see aebischer or sauve in the pipes in ottawa.

You forgot mentioning salo, the guy the most predictable goalie in the league.

Osgood, was the main reason why St. Louis was one of the top teams in january.

I have only seen cloutier fumble the puck twice from a big distance like the neutral zone.

Detroit has the money to afford a 20 mil goalie roster. And Legace has the best numbers of them all.

Better goalies in the east-Belfour, Raycroft, Brodeur, Luongo, Kolzig, Biron, Noronen, Prusek, Schwab, etc have better percentages than him. In fact, Lalime is the 35th best goalie in the league with respect to save percentages.

sorry to hear bout ottawa's goalie problem, actually not really , but tonight in toronto we are havin a decent time so far with our newly aquired d-man, Brian leetch, its 1st intermission and the old timer has 2 assists already......

just wait till playoffs, Lalime should come into form. He's a good enough goalie to be able to step it up big time in the playoffs.

 
They lost game 7 in the conference finals, because of him. They totally dominated that game, especially in OT, then a devil gets a partial breakaway, 2 defencemen are in front of him, so he just throws the puck at the net, and scores.

Shit.. I missed it. I was going to watch it and then I didn't, though the likelyhood is that I would have turned it off before hell broke loose.

And Chara didn't fight? He's the only one that can stand up for himself... did anyone see Chara wrestle McCabe last week? He threw him around like a rag-doll.

I wish we had oldtime free-for-alls in Toronto, that would be a little more evenly matched!

bwahahaha yeah chara threw mccabe (one of TO's tough guys, and one of chara's rivals for the norris trophy) to the ground repeatedly, while mccabe tried to turtle for his life. good times.

lalime...he needs to get back into his zone that he was in against philly in round one two years ago. then ottawa has the cup sealed.

and about the game last night...i only saw the last 30 seconds, and my satellite stopped working last night, so i didnt get to see many highlights at all! but i heard it was one of the most exciting nhl games in a long time....

Chara, VAn Allen, Ray, Spezza, Fisher, Neil, Lalime all fought. Fisher, Neil, Van Allen, and Chara i think won the fight, Ray was too old for brashear, spezza is not a fighter, and lalime had a draw.

Chara wieghs 50+ pounds more and is 7 inches taller than McCabe... nobody in the NHL stands a chance in a wrestling match against Chara.

McCabe really isn't a 'tough guy'... in fact the only fights that I can remember him getting in lately (in fact this year) were against Chara and then again against Thornton... both times he was fighting guys in different weight classes... and both times he got his ass kicked.

Chara definately has the upper-hand on the Norris Trophy right now.

Sorry bud, The Avalanche are going to keep Aebischer and Sauve, thank you very much. Olzig in from Washington to the Sens would be a good deal, I'm sure he would play better if he had a good defense like Ottowa's backing him up.

Im startin to think that Olig Kolzig would be a good fit in ottawa. Lalime well...... with him ottawa wont make it far in the playoffs. And how about Atlanta, their unstoppable right now

and dont expect kolzig to come to ottawa at all. too expensive, and if he is better than lalime, which is debatable, he isnt better by much. so it isnt a good deal for ottawa to make.

The bolts are the best team in the league right now, 90 fucking points allready. But they only have like 2 rounds of playoff experience.

^It's a fluke don't worry to much about it. Everyone seems to play terribly against them, Tampa Bay never looks as if they dominate in any win.

And when you rely so heavily off of a midget (a really really really good midget) for all your assists and goals... it kicks you in the ass in the playoffs (other teams are aware of his speed and skill this year.)

Did I mention they are in the South East Divison?

I have seen a jogger with one, i was high when i saw him and for the first couple of seconds i thought he was really a fucking alien(on the oakley medusa hats)

 
yeah see the bolts play 24 games in total against 4 of the leagues worst...atlanta, washington, florida and carolina (no offense atlantaski). that really gives them an edge. don't get me wrong, they are a good team, but their point total can be deceiving.
