Ewww, I had braces and every other thing that comes along with them forever, exept I was lucky and got them early so I ended up getting them off before highschool, but they still sucked.

i had mine for 6. lying bastards told me it would be two, then they screwed up making the retainers so i had to get em back on

 
i had mine for 2-4 years i think and now have had a permanant bar on the bottom for 8 years so far. also have to wear a retainer on the top everyso often, usually at night.

i have them on right now. got em on this summer i have to have them on for like 1 or 2 years i had to have twin block retainers before i got my braces on though . 8 years is a hella long time

 
i've had mine on for about 2 years now...hopefully gonna be getting them off sometime during the winter.

i'm just not lookin forward to skiing with braces again, cause the wind makes em really cold when i'm flying down the mountain
