Good Woods Ski?

Hey,

Im looking for a good powder ski for in the woods, thats a quick turner, I was thinking seth pitols, but i dunno if they can be turned quikly, can someone help me out.

pretty much any really fat ski.i think the fater the ski the better for woods because the extra width would keep u on top of the snow and u could have faster response time

i agree with him. i dont think the prophets or the mad'n are great turners. you could actually go with the gun or the foil if you dont have anything agaisnt salmon. still a good ski, dont know why people hate em. otherwise your pretty safe with somethin in the mid 90 range( 90-95 underfoot)

maybe some scratch bcs. public enemys are really good tree skis but wont handle the pow as well as something a little fatter.

 
get something like the chronic wides, so they are not too wide, but not too skiiny, and also yes nomensteven knows everything about skiing so dont even think about saying he is wrong becasue he will burry you in a burrage of information....

If you want a twintip, and I suggest you should, get a 05 rossignol scratch BC, a 05 or 06 mojo(90-92mm underfoot) or a 4frnt msp. All those are real solid skis, good for powder but not so gigantic you can't move them around.

Easy there.

Anyways, if he goes with the Scratch BC, he'll be fine. I use these and they are extremely agile in the trees, and with a 90mm waist they've got enough float for the pow back there. Honestly I think they're probably the best choice for glades skiing.

If you actually look at the Turn radius of the Moship you would realize it actually has alot of shape for it's width, compared to most skis around 100mm.

rossi bandits or salomon screams are what your loking for. Carve through powder plus have a quick turn radius. These skis are dope. Great for woods. also good for moguls they really snap in moguls.

so yeah- trees, twin, not super deep pow (will get 190 gots/maidens when i go to japan)

height: 195cm (bout 6 foot 4)

weight: 100kg (dont know pounds)

i was thinking 179 pistols/pe or 180ish scratch bc (what lengths do they come in?)
