Im looking for a good wide angle lens for my t2i, ive been looking at the tamron 17-50 and the canon 50mm f1.8. Any good quality lenses that are pretty cheap that im overlooking?

from a 17-50 to a 50mm is quite a difference... I'd say a 17-50 if you're looking for cheap.

I mean, the canon 50mm 1.8 isn't a wide angle lens.

What are you trying to shoot with this wide angle lens?

Skating, skiing and such. I realize that the canon 50mm isnt a wide angle lens but i heard it was a good lens for under $100

Under 100 used, and it is a good choice, but if you're doing followcams go for a 28mm or a 17-50, something like that.

the tamron 17-50 wouldn't be mutch wider then the kit lens the t2i comes with. Did you buy only the t2i body?

This lens the sigma 10-20mm is a very wide angle lens and whats good about it is you don't get the fisheye distortion

If you do want the fisheye distortion then i would go with the Rokinon 8mm fisheye

I have the rokinon 8mm for my t2i and love it. Its extremely wide and can see about 160 degrees around

check out this edit I made with it, all my other videos filmed with the t2i that arnt a fisheye were just shot with the kit lens 18-55mm

Ive got an 18-135 and am looking for something a little different. Ive been looking at 28mm too

The mm is the focal length (zoom) so the 28mm would be less wide then your

18-135mm
