Good tv series

-THE OFFICE

-Scrubs

-LOST (but you kinda have to watch all the episodes and start with season 1. on www.abc.com)

- Family Guy

-24 (start at the beginning of a season)

-Man vs. Wild

Arrested Development. I think it's funnier than the office, but it's only funny if you watch it from the beginning so you get to know the characters, otherwise its confusing as hell. The office is great because you can watch any episode and think its funny, there is really no re-occuring main plot. Arrested Development has fore-shawdowing into the final season, starting in the very first episiode. And, some of the stuff they refer or allude to is pretty smart, alot of history/legal/other brainy stuff

watch the first and second season of the office. after that they start to get worse.

30 rock is one of the funnest shows on tv right now if you ask me

Grosse Pointe. You will not be disappointed.

Its a comedy from the late 90's that got canned after 1 season. The premises of the show is what goes on behind the scenes of shows like 90210. It is from some of the same writers of 90210 and the director of sex in the city.

It's witty and hilarious. It's rumoured that the show was canceled be Tory Stelling's dad complained to the network because one of the character's was to similar to his daughter (Tory of 90210).

Anyways, I recommend it. Much better than the office.

No the office definitely has a lot of sub plots that are continued and developed throughout each episode. Its not totally necessary to watch them in order but if you do you realize how hilarious and well written it is

I dont know, I think the office has its sub plots, but they aren't major to the story. Like for example, Jim and Pams little "relationship". Sure, that echoes throughout the entire series, but in each individual episode it takes back-seat to something else that happens. But you are absolutley correct, the office is hilarious and well written.

Arrested Development is a REALLY good show.

I watched season one but nothing of season two. So before i went on a 12 hour road trip i bought the season 2 series, and every episode was enjoyable.

if you like medicine and have a strong stomach and get discovery health try trauma life in the ER and Code Blue. both show all the guts and blood and have a lot of real medicine in them. no freaking stupid drama

Concur. Arrested Development is the single funniest show in the history of television. In fact, it's probably the funniest anything in the history of entertainment.

No exaggeration.

i second rescue me. another really good show is Hopkins. its a new show on abc that profiles doctors that work at Johns Hopkins. it show sugeries and all that cool stuff.

futurama...there's so many references making fun of all sorts of movies and shows, it's great, though many of said references are fairly nerd specifics, so they go unnoticed by many.

I concur on Sopranos, best series ever.

Other good ones:

weeds

the office

lost

scrubs

south park

top gear

futurama

arrested development

breaking bad (HS chemistry teacher gets cancer, starts cooking meth to support his family when he dies)

flight of the conchords

aqua teen hunger force

yeeeeee. its too bad they canceled SG-1 and Atlantis. although, the new series is coming out in like October.

I recommend:

Bones

Law & Order: SVU

Law & Order

Hell's Kitchen

Knight Rider (the new one isnt too bad)

The Big Bang Theory

House (watch it every now and then, really good show)

If you're looking for an old tv series, nothing beats Friends. probably the funniest sitcom ever.
