i'm not sure what they are, thier my mates.

i think they are just panasonic or some big-brand like that. they are fairly basic, but u can change tone and pitch and all that shit, theres about 20 dials or so, and of course the volume ones and the one to change from deck to deck. 3 different speeds.

i have not learnt about pitch and tone yet, i am just focusing on getting the beat-matching down on the basic hardcore and happy hardcore tracks. so it doesnt sound too different from everything else, but i can get it beat matched pretty well and flip it over at the right time and all that

Yeah, like hell theres a differance, Techno is like hard beat and all like Chemical Brothers and Basement Jaxx. Trance has more of a melodic and soothing kinda beat, usually in 4-4 too. I mean, just listen to Paul van Dyke and then some Prodigy, Trance vs Techno right there.

so what sub-style do you want?

Progressive?

Hardcore?

Also Oakenfold, Underworld, Digweed, etc (brain fart).

and i've cleared this up before but i'll do it again:

all electronic music does not fall under the category of 'techno.' if you want actual 'techno' try listening to richie hawtin (plastikman) or john aquaviva. These two produce actual 'techno.' when most of you on here say techno you are referring to electronic music. therefore, house, trance, jungle, drum&bass, breakbeats, hardcore, gabber, progressive, downtempo, experimental, two-step, atmospheric, and any other ELECTRONIC MUSIC is NOT 'techno'

just to clear things up.

oh and whoever said trance sucks didn't say it loud enough. all trance is unimaginative filth that takes no skill to produce. anyone who likes trance hasn't ever heard any other kind of electronic music yet.
