Good starter tricks?

hey hey. any suggestions on some tricks to start out with? i got just straight airs down, but i wanna try some stuff out this weekend. maybe like, grabs and stuff. simple would be good lol.

thanks

360

sack up, drop in, throw your arms, pop and look at your fist while spinning. you'll be fine.

180s, 360s, sliding rails, front 270s off (or blind if you're really feeling it), safety and mute grabs.

So pretty much exactly what the guy above me said

Have fun!

This might sounds obvious but you NEED to have twin tips, if you go to the park with regular carving skis you will have a very difficult time balancing in the air and on rails. This is aswell as looking fairly silly.

I only say this because last year I enrolled in a "Park and Pipe" course for a week and out of the four of us I was the only one with twin tips there..

Yeh ^ the number one thing is just trying things and manning up, I'm terrible because I'm a pussy and don't try anything

I'm really not into jumps..

but for jumps start with

Grabs (Safety, Mute, Japs, Tail, Nose etc)

180's

1's with grabs

3's

Rails

fs 270 off

Switchup

1 on

bs 270 off

270 on

maybe touch them with his hand and approach them

the absolute best way is to make ur own rail in ur back yard. sooo easy to get comfy with what you built, then bring the skill you build to the park and progress from there. thats my advice

guys, this kid has clearly never skied any park before. no hate at all, just saying there's absolutely no way he's getting 270s out and sw. remember when you first starting freestyle skiing? straight sliding, then actually turning and slipping back, etc.

my advice would be to just do what's comfortable. obviously you're watching better kids in the park so you know some of the basics. when you feel ready, go for it; whatever the trick may be

yeah. never skied park before. haha. shoulda mentioned that. i had twin tips and tried some park. needless to say, i ate shit everywhere. haha. i'm gonna build stuff in my backyard to practice on, for sure. thanks guys.
