find songs that are original and flow well with your edit,

you dont need other ppl tellling you what music to use
 
if you are taking music suggestions off an NS forum the song is probably gonna be played as fuck. Just go exploring on Music Blogs or find an Emo girl who will constantly feed you new shit. I got me one of those and there is a steady flow of new awesome editing music coming through my AIM every week.

ya i heard it in an edit a little while ago, but once again the song you use has to match the flow of your edit, be original and dont take other ppls song advice from ns
 
Most edits use like hip hop or techno. If I filmed and edited I'd use a slower song with like a good almost epic background music and soft voice and make all the shots slower and more epic.

Or if you want a fun almost funky hip hop song you could go with Del the Funky Homosapien.

i push this song up and down ns, but i think its such a dope edit song. its lyrics are almost 100% just about things that make you feel good.

 
the song used in Dumonts segment back in Teddy Bear crisis was super chill, Ceremony by New Order i believe, i enjoyed it
