Good Skullcandy story?

Yeah i got one. I sent back my Skullcandy TI's after they broke about 6 months. I never got anything back so I just called them about it today. I was planning on seeing if they would let me get a pair of icon 2's and a pair of lowriders (put together less than TI's). From past experiences I figured they would never take my offer and I was going to have to bitch them out. BUT to my surprise the guy said that would not be a problem. I was shocked and didn't speak for a few seconds. I've had nothing but bad warranty experiences with Skullcandy and now something like this? Crazy. Now if they get these to me in a week or two I will give mad props to them. Just thought I'd share. Maybe they finally got there act together or something.

Anybody else had good experiences with them?
 
No different from any of the stupid 13 year olds that post stuff about random bullshit that nobody cares about... so i'm not seeing a problem here. Please don't be a dick and ruin a decent day that i'm having.
 
this thread is dildos. jk cool story but maybe he was just shitting you, that would be quite an interesting turn of events.
 
i had green lowriders that broke and sent them back and got the fuzzy native ones cause the greens were out of stock...
 
i once ordered one of the cable extensions after the one on my TIs broke, 6 months later it finally arrived
 
dude i get the smoking buds maybe once every two months because they break so easily, but im too lazy to warranty them...
 
fuck skullcandy.... well priced but it does not account for the absolute piece of shit product they sell. I can name over 1000000 kids who have had their products malfunction . Could care less how good their customer service is
 
Prove it.

I've never had a problem with Skullcandy. I treat my headphones like any other piece of electronics should be treated, and they have lasted me. The one time I needed to warranty a pair, because I landed on them, they got returned back within a couple weeks.
 
Almost everyone here has said true stuff. I love my skullcandy headphones. The sound quality is stellar. And almost a quarter the price of the average Bose headphone I'm quite impressed. Bose is overrated IMO. I have gone through 7 pairs of skullcandy headphones in less than a year. well in 7 days it will be a year. I treat my headphones with great care. I just must have some seriously bad luck with there stuff. But yeah I'm thinking I'll probably get the headphones within a month or two. thatch disappointing but the sad truth.
 
The fact that you have to go through returning your headphones every few months is not a good thing. You could buy good headphones with much better sound quality for a few bucks more, and you wont have to worry about replacing them for years.

find some sennheiser headphones for a bit more and you'll find the sound quality to be much much better.
 
i fucking hate skullcandy. ive contacted them so many god damn times about my SK pros that broke and i sent in. I have heard nothing back and recieved nothing. im so god damned pissed because i could at least of tryed and fixed them.
 
I think its stellar for the price they sell at. My bad allen probably should have specified more. Bose is still overrated...
 
I said this when everyone wanted them to win entreprenuer of the year. They are nothing special they just market headphones to teenagers and say they are extreme
 
I actully have nothing against skullcandy.

My FMJ's sound AMAZING in my mind, and i love my icons for skiing. They have both broke more then once, shipping them through customs they seem to get them within 2 weeks, and 3 days later they tell me there shipped out. It took a month to get back to Canada but thats not tooo bad. Recently i sent them to a place in the US ( i live 5 mins from a border ) and it was 2 weeks. Shipped from Canada, through customs and back in the states in 2 weeks. Skullcandys Dope!
 
Gee lets all be fucking business men in are uber expensive bose headphones that all look the same. Your an idiot in my book.
 
ok heres a story.

ok i was at mwsff and the bern rep was talking to me about there new headphones and how they will not snap! he starts bending them around and then kaaaa booom they fucking snapped. so then kyle decker comes over and they were kind of going at it skullcandy vs. bern blah blah blah. and then decker said here hold on a minute and he walks to some back room and when he comes out hes holding a pair of skullcandy assulyms?sp. and he said here and gave them to me i thought that was prettey cool. they were just going at it how skullcandy supports more skiers than bern. end of story.
 
I was going for the point that they all have different flamboyant designs to them whilst Bose and other leading companies have a standard silver with black on all of them. Nothing fancy to look at.

i dont see how people are being like "oh, its not so bad i got the replacement headphones sent to me with a month"... for fucks sake, theyre not supposed to break in the first place... you shouldnt buy crap thats supposed to break.
 
My hesh broke while putting them on, still haven't gotten any back I'm going to ask for some different ones good idea.
