Good Skis?

I am looking to buy a pair of Line Chronic 164s with Salomon Z 12s and was wondering if they are the right ski and bindings for me.

also what kind of mounting/ tuning should i do?

I am 5'6'' 130lbs

been skiing since i was 3

I ride 60% all mountain 40% park

If i were you i would go for the 171's since you ride all mountain a lot. The extra length will be more stable and you won't out grow them so quickly. Also you'll still be able to rip them easy since its a pretty light ski

z12's are all plastic and not very sturdy. I would recommend a mount fairly close to center due to the chronic's symmetric flex (like center to -2 cm) A good binding would be sth 12 driver or sth2 13

the FKS are practically indestructible... for evidence, look how many pros are riding them, even when they're not sponsored by Rossi

Z12s blow man. Go with fks/pivot if you can afford it. If not go with marker griffons or some of the other bindings in the "what binding" thread

Volkls are great skis, from what I've heard the kinks are quite good. I wouldn't trust those markers unless you are light or not very aggressive.
