I have gone on vacation to Jay every year for the past ~12 years. The most memorable times were on my one lifes, S3's, and oddly invaders. I ski everything when I'm at Jay: the face, trees, bumps, park, groomers more or less in that order.
One lifes--
Pros: Excellent in pow and crud. Fast on groomers once you get used to them. Surprisingly nimble in the tight trees as well.
Cons: Turning radius of a stretch limo, terrifying in bumps, not the best on jumps, take up a shit load of room on the tram.
S3's--
Pros: Excellent all around ski, performs well in every aspect. My ideal all around ski.
Cons: They don't like high speeds. I pushed them to their limits on upper can am and the tips started folding. I also have them center mounted so that has a large effect on it.
Invaders--
Pros: Highly maneuverable, surprisingly great in the crud, ripped groomers surprisingly well in my opinion, excellent in the bumps
Cons: They sink in powder haha, I still had so much fun on them though in the trees and crud. Some people think they are too soft, but mine were fairly stiff everywhere except the butter zones. Very fun ski.
So there are three very different skis haha that performed well from my own experiences.
