Good ski shops in tahoe resorts?

well im looking into going over to america for your upcoming season, and im pretty interested in going to tahoe for the season.

now, ive looked at the websites for the individual resorts, and they dont really say much regarding the individual businesses in their villages.

so, anyone got links to some of the bigger and more well known ski shops in the tahoe area?
 
Shops in the villages rape you with msrp... they cater to the loaded crowd wich most of us skiers arent, Hit up porters in truckee or tahoe city and if your going through sacto stop by sierra snowboard. sierrsnowboard.com
 
oh i wasnt clear - i was thinking of working in a ski shop, and i figured the bigger ones would be more likely to take in an international guy
 
Taits will no longer be carrying skis (once inventory is gone)...

As a foreigner you will have no problem getting a job, most resorts prefer to hire foreigners because they can pay you less and they assume you have no friends that you will be hooking up outta the shop
