good ski for east

Does it have to be a twin? 1080, K2 Enemy, Rossi Scratch......anything that hovers around 70-75 at the waist should be pretty good and cover a broad base of condition possibilities.

that ski is so underated, and it is fucking amazing...same tail height as 1080, near same turn radius, and it is sick

the 1080 would be another good one

and if you aren't super park, get the Darksides

I also ski at Sunday River, and i used Concepts this year, and they were sick. Good in the moguls, good in the park, and their descent in powder

 
NOT 1080s, i made that mistake, theyre sick skis but they suck for ice and other crappy snow

Yeah i have the 1080s, they aren't too great on snow and crud though. Pretty sweet on everything else.

everyone has a different opinion about these things. Really the ski dosent matter its how u use it. I saw a guy tear it up in Park City with Elans from ages ago. Buy a ski with the feel u like and tear it up. Peace

Freestyla:

You are right that a good skier could ski just about any terrain with any ski. However, that does not overwrite the fact that skis have different characterstics which are based on its design. A narrow-waisted ski will be quicker edge to edge than a fatter one. A ski with more side-cut carves with more stablity. A longer ski will be more stable at speed and through crud than a shorter one, regardless of surface area.

buy next year's line darksides..... they rock like the stone age......

i took em up to jay, they did pow easy....

took em to jiminy, skiied ice fine

same day at jiminy, they muscled through the slop of late spring skiing......

i mean the things are tanks, but they can do anything, and still huck (off big jumps)
