Good single track mtb in Vermont?

I do a lot of mountain biking, but never seem to get out to Vermont as much as I should. The only riding I've ever done in VT is when I race for my school. If anybody can recommend any good single track rides that would be great!

Looking for any difficulty or length

Are you still in maine? Sunday River bike park is also the shit if you want something close and that has techy gnar trails that are maintained unlike attatrash.

Ha,I love this. Never actually made it to Sunday River, but I hear its really good. Attitrash fucking blows at everything whether it be skiing or biking haha.

Stowe has some great Mt Bike trails. If you talk to some locals at ski and bike shops around they can point you in the right direction

Hey, I'm from southern vermont. If you're around that area some of my favorite places to ride are:

Sport Trails in the Ascutney Basin (STAB) in Ascutney/Brownsville- This is a really cool network of singletrack trails. Challenging and fun at the same time. Some of them are kind of technical, but you can get away with riding them on a hard tail.

Pine Hill Park located at Georgetti park in Rutland- These trails are smooth and manicured in most cases, meaning that they can be ridden fast. The climbers are almost so flowy that you don't even notice that you're biking uphill. Also a lot of cool ladder bridges and some nice vistas. There are a few freeride trails that would require something more rugged with full suspension, but I hit most of it with my old Jamis.

Haven't ridden them yet, but I've heard that Green Mountain Trails in Pittsfield are pretty sweet too. I've talked to the guys that build there and they seemed like they knew what they were doing.

So, definitely go up to kingdom and burke if you have the time, but there's also plenty of stuff right in southern VT. Happy biking!
