Good Shepherd... good or not?

I saw it and really liked it; as a history geek, I loved it actually. My problem is, I don't see the ending as very good. For those of you who saw it, was there some huge plot twist or underlying issue that I just missed or was it just an OK ending?

i loved i think it is one of the best spy movies. also i thnk the ending of the movie wasn't very good because there were so many stories going on they just had to finsh all them up.

o ya i like the part where they throw the girl out the plane pretty sick

I am a decent history buff and knowledgeable about the creation of the cia and I thought that movie was extremely boring and confusing. Why the fuck didn't they tell the story in chronological order. Also I really hated Matt Damon in the role because he was really creepy and never aged. His son looked like his brother and in general the movie sucked and could have been so much better. Peace

i worked at the vacation home of the man that wrote the screenplay for good shepherd a few days back. he also wrote forrest gump (and won himself an academy award), as well as ali, and munich.

the movie didnt do it for me. I thought it would be great (and there were some really good elements), and my attention span is really long, but damn I was bored and just not drawn in much at all. It's decent, but eh, there are better movies out there right now.

yeah I agree with that, I thought it was ok, just expected more I suppose. Man they had some big names for that movie too, not that means anything.

I thought that it was a great movie as long as you arent going into it thinking that you can turn your brain off and enjoy a purely entertaining film. It makes you pay attention, and unfortunately, that means paying attention for over two hours. That being said, I thought that Damon did a great job and I liked the movie. 3 stars.
