Hey im looking at getting in to pro pond skimming and was thinking about getting a ski just for skimming.

I have done a bit of research and think a rockered ski with quite a bit of width would be my best bet for staying afloat in the ponds.

I am trying to choose between the armada ARG or the line EP Pro, which do you guys think would be best.

I have other skis for other kinds of skiing so this ski would be just for pond skiming.

volant spatula. A reverse camber reverse sidecut ski would be perfect because they are really just narrower water skis in essence

liberty BFFs?....maybe line prophets (the biggest size)...these skis are so fat they would probably float even if you weren't moving on the water lol

I heard the pond skim scene is becoming quite competitive. For best results, maybe put ski bindings on a water ski. I might do this and join the pond skimming tour next year.

well first let me say, that buying skis solely for pond skimming is just... wow.. freakin retarded. (probably spelt that wrong) but pontoons

Stay away from the Armada ARG for pond skimming. It is not fun to mock on gromers or flat with. Go with Pontoons or Hellbents.

Take some old water skis and mount some ski bindings on them, no joke, just do it. the only way to go fo sho. just do it and stop complaining

WUT!?!?!?!?!?

you're gonna drop 800 bucks so that you can float over water. Something that's not that cool to begin with? haha

Liberty BFFs 300 underfoot. i skimmed a few laps through the pond on them yesterday and i have to say, best skim ski ever! These are truely skim only skis! Dont let them touch snow!

I know what some of you are thinking. How do these handle with chunky ice blocks and shallow waters? I was surprised about how much control I had with these, even on the chunky and shallows.

Buy the BFFs!

There was a kid on here who mounted up two junior snowboards with ski bindings, They were around 210 at the waist. Those would rock!

psssssssh.

clearly you need different pond skimming skis for each pond skimming event (distance, slalom, freestyle)

amateurs.

i heard 210

and also, 300 underfoot? whoever said that is retarded, those would be even more ridiculous than the BFF's in their current state

no you guys are talking about the skinny ass BFF SNOW skis. im talking about the wider version BFF Pond Ski
