Smaller town, better skatepark, cheaper cost of living. Mostly run down industrial vibes. Still close ish to skiing. Not a bad option but it’s trailer park/ hick central.

You're asking for a lot there bud. Look into Livingston. If you wang real rural Clyde Park is close enough to Livingston but close to BB than BS. Also, Manhattan is cute, I really like it. Close to Belgrade and not too far from Bozeman.

I don’t associate with Buffalo or it’s surrounding suburbs. It sucks here. I’m proud to say I’m from Savannah Georgia, and I currently ski in the foothills of the Alleghenys on my midfat all mtn twin tips

My only experience with Montana is with a chick from there that I met while I was a camper at CoC. The girl was from Missoula and she fucked my roommate and then stayed around in our room after my roommate left and I got to fuck her. So that’s the only real knowledge or experience I got on Montana, but the women there seem to put out.

The reason I don’t mind being two hours from big sky is, 1 I drive 3 hrs plus to my local hill now, 2 it’s more important for the family to have year round access to multiple activities, resources, school, hospital, shopping, like I hate traveling to the grocer, but I’ll drive cross planet with a smile on my face to ski. Also, I don’t know the lay of the land but ima learn and utilize the tour of the area with a realtor and spend 2x that amount of time touring and doing rec myself

shes got places surrounding all of Yellowstone, in big sky too but they are eithera lil small for the price vs my needs/wants and ability to build same at 40% cost and it’s a condo ?, the house my wife insists on looking at is 2 mil and a fireball waiting to happen so it’s just to humor her, so we’re not likely to end up on the mountain), Sidney, whitefish and Missoula are my pics , but that will likely change when I get the lay of things, looking at land from some private sellers as well right outside Missoula, which seems ideal , but I’ve been rushing, now that I’m coming we’re gonna take our time, and when I’ve “decided” gonna sleep on it for a few too

Ya just to clarify that was MY experience and it was an isolated one at that. I just thought I’d chime in a give what I have to say about Montana from what experience I have with it and the people. Look, I don’t speak in fiction. I was on the bottom bunk and my roomie at CoC was on the top bunk and they were fucking every night and the morning my roomie left the girl stayed in our room on the top bunk and then I got to fuck her. Again, don’t hate on Savage for this, this is MY experience and it’s an isolated one at that. I just thought I’d chime in on the topic and add what I know which again is very limited about Montana based on an isolated experience

Old Faithful is cool and Im sure the kids will get a kick out of seeing it along with a bison chilling on the side of the road. I think you're right. It's easy to point fingers and say "those damn Californians keep moving here and are ruining our housing and politics". But there are way more factors at hand. People are just looking to find happiness. Creating a negative culture around a place just makes it worse for everyone. Put that pressure on our local leaders instead to fix the housing crisis.
