Good Places to Go at Breckenridge???

Where are some good places to hit in breckenridge? Some good pow pow? and some good places to go and any suggestions on beating lines and gaypers on hills. lol Let me know any good insisde info any people have.. thanks for the info.. peace

o yeah thats the best terrain Breck has to offer.

go ski "The Burn", "ore bucket", "imperial express" chair, and "y chute" those are some of my favorites at Breck.

I love Breck.

Imperial express superchair takes you to my favorite spots and The Burn is awesome too. Pretty much everything in my opinion at Breck is dope.

way on skiers right under 6 chair is some fun stuff i like it because there are a buunch of wind drifts which are fun to play around on

ummm the best place to go would probably be a bus or car headed to keystone. it's about 1 million times better than breck.

whales tail off of imperial express and the t bar is sick peak 6 and peak 7 are aill but hikie from the saddle between t bar and imperial up the boot pack to the top of peak 7 and from there ski either down the face which is sick or continue to peak 6 and that is even better non on ever goes their either. or if the chutes off of imperial are open hit those(cant remeber the name) when r u gonna be there_?

my bad thought he was a semi¨"local" and looking for good spots my bad

ya if u dont know where ur goin dont go ur gonna get ucked

The Burn had some great snow the other day. We are getting some good snow these next few days so just about everything should be sick. If you are here a few days check out Keystone or Vail too. Almost everything at Breck is lift accessible so it gets skiied out quick.

how are you gonna say breck i flat go to keystone? if you are gonna say breck is flat say go to a-basin, or loveland, but not keystone. Keystone has such weak terrain...keystone has a decent park with a great vibe, no good terrain. Breck has a great park, but you have to take a lift that services mostly easy terrain, but has better terrain overall.

No it's not.  If you are a non park skier, why are you living in Summit County?  Why not southwestern CO, or Utah or anywhere on the west coast or BC?

You know you make a very good point.... if your not a park skier and your already going to live somewhere mainly for it's convenience to sick skiing, why not go to Telluride or Jackson Hole or Whistler or Alta or something? The thing is there are some rippin big mountain pros who still call Summit County their home.... I mean Seth Morrison Lives in Frisco... but I guess if you ski on that level 'home' is just a base camp where you spend a few months a year and travel the rest of the time.... anyways yeah I agree with what you are sayin, I am a Backcountry/Big Mt. type skier who rarely ever goes in the park, and after 3 years or 70+ day seasons I can honestly say Summit/Eagle Counties are starting to bore me a bit.... yes there is some sick, super gnar terrain, but not the variety and level you have in places like the Wasatch of the San Juan's..... anyways what were we talking about? Sending vacationing gapers to Peak 6? ;) Just Kiddin.... Pewak 6 is sick and I never call people gapers but def.go there with someone who KNOWS the area and bring gear+ experience...

Stay Steazy,

Phil.

lol def. not a gayper so... but not a local so... not gonna try to go to some places where i would get "fcuked" just trying to find some spots that not everybody knows about... but thanks for all the info... been skiin for 16 years so not a gayper... any suggestions on what park to hit up for some legit rails and mid size jumps... 30-40ft?? let me know... thanks

im comin to breck around jan 15th to train for the open and imma be sleepin in my car, anybody got a spare couch? i was lookin at hostels and you guys only have one, and its like 35 a night, but id much rather throw that money at a week long lift ticket. its fuckin wierd doin it this way, on a forum, but lemme know if you got some space and arent a rapist.

freeway should be fine if they have the med line up. before country boy would have been the place to go to, so the replacement for that should be good as well for you.

Yo Dude haha I was just playin sorry I think i was drunk when I posted that haha.... Anyways yeah the T-Bar at Breck is sick; hit up Horseshoe and Cucumber Bowls to the immediate left and right or the T-Bar.... on a pow day the trees right next to it are the place to be.... also Lake Chutes can be really fun if you are comfortable in pretty steep, exposed terrain and variable conditions... they blast if pretty good so you don't really need much BC gear/experience... also hit up the trees to skiers right coming up E chair called 'The Windows' they are super dope...look for a small cat track going into the trees immediately right from the top of the chair... Also check out a little gnarly trail know as 'The Needles' which is on the left side of a groomer coming down from the top of Peak 9 towards the Peak 8 Superconnect... its a gnar little chute through tight trees that usually has dope pow pow... Also the trails of the south side of Peak 10 Like Mustang are pretty sweet too; also check out 'The Burn' on the right side of Peak 10. Hope this helps dude/

How is the snow in Breck right now? Im headed out there on the 6th and will be there for a week...any Pow?

Well it's gonna dump probably at least a foot this weekend, next week looks like high pressure moving in so probably sunny for a while, you should have some sweet pow early next week though.. especially in the trees as above treeline Breck get's super windblown/skied off after a storm...

anybody heading out to breck on the 6th or 7th??? drop me a line if anybody is headed out around this time... just seeing if anybody would wanna meet up and ski the park for a day or something... peace
