Good park bindings?

squires are shitty bindings in general.

some stats could help, height weight, the way you ski.

that being said, solomon bindings get good reviews, i use look pivots and i cant complain.

just something to note, pivot/fks are the same binding. and sth/ffg are the same binding.

same goes for head/tyrolia/4frnt they are the same bindings and they get good reviews also.
 
If your prone to breaking brakes, then look for a binding where the break is easily replacable. For example, salomlon sth's, head peak's, rossi px. A binding where you can replace the brake mounting plate is also a good thing, so if you break the brake tabs you can fix the binding relativly easily.
 
FKS on quiver killers [/thread]

FKS because they are bomb proof and if anything does break you can always find spare parts. The quiver killers solve the tear out problems that are usually the one fallacy of fks, and also solves replacing brakes so you don't fuck your holes taking them of the ski to replace. People say that taking apart fks heels is a bitch but once you do it a few times its a piece of cake. I can pop apart a heel peice, strip it down completely and put it back together in about a minute. Just practice on some forza's or something if you are worried.
 
...incredibly plastic. Now I will admit I have never skied them but we've all heard lots of complaints about the durability of them and I intern in a shop that deals marker, I've played around with them and they are solid plastic.
 
If the Op is prone to breaking brakes then an FKS would not be my first recomendation. Its a great binding, but its one of the worst, in terms of replacing the brakes. Yes it can be done, but spare parts are becoming harder to find, and the heel piece needs removing to replace the break. Yes you could get killer quivers, but if this is the only pair of skis you will use the bindings on, its just extra expense.
 
I wouldnt base this on not to buy these bindings. IMO these are some of the best on the market right now and I would rather go through the trouble of replacing the brakes this way than having to deal with a shitty pair of bindings.
 
Learn to land switch properly balanced. Most guys that come through the shop with broken brakes tend
 
...to be shaky on switch landings. I've owned px12, p10, Salomon 810, and marker griffons and I've never had issues with brakes and park riding but I'm very confident skiing switch and landing switch so...
 
i ski switch more then i ski forward, and prefer to take off switch and land regs, so switch 1's and 5's are my favortie trick.

i just bust them on rails, when i land the plastic part just snaps off.
 
i know this sounds a little old school but if you can find a old pair of look px 15-18's they are the most bomb proof bindings in the world other than being a bit heavyweight you will love them.
 
Fairly certain you mean p15 or p18, as in look pivots, which are the same as Rossi FKS, which is what I and others recommended. So another vote for FKS!
