Awsome work mates! You dumped your whole team for this mega hyped up website that doesn't even work. Great plan, I'd say!

First it was skiboards, then it was the binding, now its "the website." You think these guys would get the hint and give up already.
 
It worked for like 2 hours, and line didn't dump the skiers. they dumped line. Coker is the man. all hail coker.
 
it's funny how many people critisize Line when, in reality, it doesn't even really matter. Line's site is having problems, their pros left them (they didn't get rid of them- the pros left them)... so what? are you going to die because of this or something?
 
I'm just saying line sucks. line should be hurt. line should be maimed. line should be stoned. Lets kill line.
 
because in the real businiess world, companies never run into problems when doing R & D...or in product development, or in marketing, or anywhere. Only amateur companies have problems, right?

funny, I can't find where I said I thought line's site was better than others? or where I said line's site was good. or anything about it, I was just pointing out that there was no end to the argument because it was two people's differing opinions.
 
Jason knows more about marketing and stuff than any stuipid 15 year old on ns.com Yeah, maybe things didn go his way, but line does more for skiing than you ever will do so shut up.

I like the line site cause it has videos, and videos keep you occupied! And a really long eric pollard vid which was cool. It runs a little slow, but i forgive it cause its OFF THE CHAIN/INTERNET/HOOK!
 
Unfortunately the Line site was hyped by line. Jason repeatedly alluded to how once the site was up it would all be clear to us why the team was dumped/allowed to leave and where the direction of skiing was going and how line was taking it there. Also we were supposed to see this great new "Skier's Union" program.

The site is just ok as far as things go. No better than anyone else's and hard to navigate at times. The rest of the promises are still unfulfilled and questions unanswered.
 
Line will be fine as long as they keep making sweet skis. Why exactly do they NEED a huge pro team ?

Except he isn't really saying it, he's typing it. But I agree. And also, I would like to say that I really enjoy looking around at Armadas website. But there is nothing wrong with Lines. Or anyone elses. Peace.
 
The Line site had good reason to have problems. I dont even think that hobo thought of the coding that would have gone into a site that runs like that. I've personally never seen a site that is run like that. Im no genious when it comes to coding and site construction but I could tell anyone that that site had a lot of work put into it.
 
absolutely not, but I can't say I don't like and respect the company. What I meant was that since there's been so much fuss about Line "dropping" Coker, it's interesting that he rode Armadas at a comp.
 
line used to be cool. but then they got played out. that's what happens to companies that rely on smaller factions of the trends to support their buisness (snowblades, then skis, then girls skis...ya know? trendy as eph.)
 
i think the reason the line team fell apart has alot to do with jordan judd leaving. he left to start his own shop and it seems like he was the main connection between line and there riders
 
That's hilarious. Oh yeah, Line just started making skiboards because they wanted to cash in on what was was trendy at the time. No, wait, Line made the first skiboards...kind of hard for something to be trendy when it doesn't exist.

Oh, but then they moved on to skis so they could stick with the trend. Well then I guess Armada, 4frnt, Ninthward, and just about any other ski company must "rely on smaller factions of the trends" as well.

What you fail to understand is that Line sets the trends, or is at least instrumental in doing so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they were the first to develop female-specific twins and now Armada and K2 have them, and more will probably follow.
 
line was never ever good, any company that makes snowblades before they try to make skis is complete crap. Linesucks lives on.

The fact that line started in a garage ages b4 ne CORE companies existed.If you dont like lines prodicts fine ur opinion, but you cant deny their serious influence on the industry. They paved th way for 4frnt, armada ninthward and so on!! Jason was producing twins side by side with salomon back in the day!! Hell Snowblading used to be in the X games!!!!
 
Line has made crappy skis since day one, man i wish i had a pair of 1260s maybe in like 150 long super duper sweet. You say line paved the way for other "core" ski companies, maybe they did but what the hell is core about armadas being made in the elan factory or that liberty cant make a ski that doesnt snap in half after 2 days. Maybe im not "core" enough myself, Ill be happy with some reliable k2s this year.
