my brakes on my bindings broke , so my local shop for some reason sent the to rossi to get fixed instead of the shop fixing them and i found out to day that they are just gonna send me new skis and bindings. (i think cuz they screwed something up while working on it). but i think they are sending me the just plain scratch, the blue ones. can anybody tell me the difference, interms of preformance, between the scratch and scratch fs?

wood core will last you longer. but a lil heavers. thats it. and there better cause they have tits on em

The core isn't of the same grade, so the flex is a bit different (it feels stiffer, and is a fair bit heavier). Some people actually prefer the Scratch nothing... personally, though, I don't understand why. I love my FS. I'd demand a new pair of FS if that's what you had originally.

are you an agresssive/heavy skier? the stiffer wood core might be better for you. A wood core is higher quality than a foam core, and it will last longer and is more bombproof on flat landings.

the reg. scratch is not stiffer..its way more forgiving... all you people are just assuming this because they have a wood core. i use to work for rossignol, i know this. deal with it.. they are a lower quality ski. thats why the price is different.

i second this, i personally own the bcs and i would know, plus i know shawn, and he knows the produckt, so fuk you dummies.
