HE NEXT STORM SYSTEM WILL ENTER THE REGION LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND LAST INTO THE DAY TUESDAY... BRINGING THE POTENTIAL FOR A SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO THE REGION. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR UP TO 3 TO 4 FEET OF SNOWFALL IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL UTAH. SNOW HAS THE POTENTIAL TO ACCUMULATE TO THE VALLEY FLOOR ACROSS ALL OF SOUTHERN UTAH INCLUDING NEAR ST GEORGE. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED BETWEEN MONDAY MORNING AND EARLY TUESDAY... POTENTIALLY AFFECTING BOTH COMMUTES MONDAY AND TUESDAY MORNINGS COMMUTE.

from avalanche.org

"A storm system will effect our area tonight through Tuesday. I'm

optimistic we'll see 6 to 10" of snow on Monday in a southwest flow. We

could pick up a little more on Tuesday."

yeah i read this to some dude on the chairlift today, then he said, were not southern or central. i was real bummed, and he killed my buzz. im guessing 8 inches in LCC. still a good thing

Except within that same warning it lists the Wasatch Front, PC, and the Uintas among others as being part of the same warning. However, now they are saying only 1 to 2 feet. But w/e, some is better than none and we will just have to see how it plays out.

it would definatley be nice just to at least get the resort covered...pc is lookin super naked

sad thing is that there is still residual high pressure in the wasatch valley that might keep the storm in southern utah. a replay of the last storm
